Dear Valued Members
Firstly from the entire team at mybikeREGO we would like to sincerely thankyou all for your support and being part of the mybikeREGO community over the past several years.
From the discussions we had over the years at the various tradeshows and events it was great to hear all the wonderful enthusiasm and passion shared for Cycling from our entire community.
For everyone who registered their bikes with mybikeREGO we all shared a common goal, to fight bike crime by deterring thieves from stealing our beloved bikes and creating a database of registered bikes to make it easier for recovered bikes to be identified and returned to their rightful owners.
So it is with deep regret that we must inform you of our intentions to close the service down effective 28th May 2014. This was not an easy decision to make but unfortunately we could no longer sustain the operation of the service for free to our users and we don’t believe bicycle registration in this format is something you should pay for.
If you would still like to continue on with registering your bicycles we would encourage you to consider some of our partners:
For registered users who purchased Pulse ID’s – we would recommend you register your bikes with www.bikeshepherd.org as they also have Pulse ID’s and your tags should be active on their website after you register them. If not, please make contact with them directly at firstname.lastname@example.org.
For all other users we would recommend the following free options:
Once again thanks for your support and happy cycling.
